Get to Know: Nick Bellore
10 Things You Might Not Know About LB Nick Bellore

LB Nick Bellore signed with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent out of Central Michigan University after the 2011 draft.

He has been a key special teams contributor for the Green & White since his arrival, but before becoming a Jet, he had never played on special teams before.

Bellore's favorite part of special teams is running down kickoffs because of the physicality of it.

Bellore's favorite song is "Old Man" by Neil Young because of the powerful lyrics.

His favorite movie is Apocalypse Now.

Bellore said the favorite game he played in was his first. The Jets played the Cowboys on the 10th anniversary of September 11th, a 27-24 win for the Green & White.

Bellore said he was proud of how the team continued to fight at the end of the sason last year after the team fell to 6-8. Winning back-to-back games to get back to .500 was Bellore's best football memory.

Bellore said traffic and the faster pace of life are the biggest differences he's noticed between growing up in Whitefish Bay, WI and living in the New York market.

During the offseason, Bellore said he enjoys playing pond hockey with his friends in Michigan and plays golf when the weather is nice.

Bellore has a fear of bugs. One day he was crashing at K Nick Folk's house and he saw a dead bug in the shower: "I looked at it the whole time to make sure it didn't move. And then when I got out I made Folk get it out for me."
