The Jets "Gotham City Football" Rivalries uniform was unveiled Thursday morning. The Jets will pay homage to their history when they host the Miami Dolphins on Dec. 7 at MetLife Stadium.

Joining a first wave of teams from the AFC East and the NFC West, the Jets' Gotham City attire is a nod to the team's origins and the region it represents.

"It quickly became evident that Gotham City Football was an obvious direction for us to take with the Rivalry uniform," said Chris Pierce, vice president of fan commerce for the Jets. "The story influenced our colorways – our green being treated with a filter that reflects the hazy, steamy, smoky city streets. Adding in Black, Light Iron Ore and Dark Stucco all strong identifying elements of New York City streetscape was an obvious decision. The nod to the iconic NYC manhole pattern on the shoulder and in the background to the plane is uniquely our own and strong imagery that defines the toughness and work ethic of the people who call this great city home. Adding our fifth uniform and third helmet in 16 months is something we are extremely proud of as an organization. We intend to have uniforms that resonate with our players and fans and demonstrate a deep emotional connection to what it means to be a New York Jet."

In each of the Jets' road primetime games – Monday Sept. 29 at Miami and Thursday Nov. 13 at New England -- the Dolphins and the Patriots will debut their Rivalry collections.

Nike and the NFL on April 25, draft weekend, announced the Rivalries program, which will drive fan engagement by celebrating storied traditions and uniting communities with unique and elevated product designs. The program will elevate NFL rivalry games over the next four seasons, with specially designed Nike uniforms and fan gear. The program will celebrate storied traditions and help to unite communities with unique product designs.

"The unveiling of the first eight Rivalries club uniforms and fan gear marks a significant moment for the NFL, Nike and Fanatics, as creativity and innovation merge together to deliver a new take on what it means to be a rival," said Taryn Hutt, vice president of club marketing at the NFL. "Rivalries will bring fresh energy to the field with each new uniform, while providing a platform to amplify the community and hometown pride that is rooted in each NFL fan."

The Jets will remain in the league's program following the 2025-26 season for three years. Teams from the AFC South and NFC North will debut their Rivalries uniforms in 2026, followed by NFC East and AFC West teams in 2027, and teams from the AFC North and NFC South in 2028.
