After three seasons with the Patriots, Martin signed as a restricted free agent with the Jets. In total, he scored 90 rushing touchdowns, recorded 14,101 rushing yards on 3,518 carries and he also threw two touchdown passes of his two passing attempts in his career. At the end of his career Martin was the fourth all-time rusher in the NFL.
