In recognition of Women's History Month, the Jets held a panel to highlight the rich history of women in the Jets organization and to speak about their experiences with the Jets and the impact of women in sports. Hosted by SNY Jets reporter Jeane Coakley, the panel featured Helen Dillion, the first woman executive in professional football as part owner of the Jets for 16 years; Connie Carberg, the first female scout in NFL history who started her career with the Jets in 1974; and Dawn Aponte, who first joined the Jets in 1991 and was the first chief administrator and highest ranked woman in NFL football operations.
