Biography
Justus Galac returns for his ninth season as the head strength and conditioning coach and his 10th season with the team, after initially joining the New York Jets in 2012 as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Prior to joining the Jets, he served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Villanova football team (2005-11) and earned recognition as the Samson FCS Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2010 for his work with the 2009 FCS National Champion Wildcats.
In addition to his strength and conditioning responsibilities, Galac worked as a defensive assistant during his first two seasons with the Wildcats (2005-06).
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, he served as a captain and helped lead SUNY Brockport to two NCAA playoff appearances as a nose tackle in 2000 and 2001 before graduating. He majored in physical education and minored in coaching.
Galac and his wife, Lauren Montanaro Galac, have a daughter, Vivienne, and a son, Kane.
