McCown Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Veteran QB Threw for 313 Yards and Rushed for Two Touchdowns vs. KC in Week 13

Jets quarterback Josh McCown was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 13.

McCown threw for 331 yards and one touchdown on 26 passes against the Chiefs while completing 72% of his passes for a rating of 109.8. Sunday's game marked the eighth time this season the 38-year-old finished with a passer rating above 100 and it was his third 300-yard passing game of 2017, matching his career-high.   

The 15th-year gunslinger also rushed for two touchdowns, bringing his season total to a career-high five scores on the ground, which is tied for first among quarterbacks this year.

For the season, McCown has thrown for 2,880 yards, 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 67.8% of his passes, which ranks fourth in the NFL.
