SEASON BY SEASON

2009 (JETS) Saw action in all eight games in which he was active this season, recording six tackles in those contests…Was inactive for all three postseason contests. SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: (11/29 vs. CAR)…Named game captain. (10/18 vs. BUF)…Recorded his first two career tackles. (9/13 at HOU)…Played in his first career game as part of a defense that did not allow an offensive score.

2008 (JETS) Spent the first 15 weeks of the season on the practice squad before being placed on the Practice Squad Injured List on 12/16/08.

BEFORE THE NFL

◊ Played in 36 games, starting 25, amassing 116 tackles, 19 tackles-for-loss and 8.5 sacks in his four seasons at Washington State.

◊ Named team’s Leon Bender Award winner and the squad’s Defensive Lineman of the Year as a senior after starting 11 games at tackle and one at defensive end.

◊ Played both football and basketball at Clover Park (WA) HS, only picking up football in his junior season.

◊ Lettered twice in football and earned the Seamount League’s Defensive Player of the Year award as a senior in 2002.
