2008(TEN) In his second season with the Titans, saw action in all 16 games with four starts at middle linebacker and posted 27 tackles, including two tackles for loss...Saw significant action on special teams units and registered six tackles. SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: (1/10 vs. BAL)...Saw limited action in a reserve role at linebacker and posted a tackle for loss...Exploded through the line and stuffed Le'Ron McClain for a two-yard loss on a rush off left guard in the fourth quarter. (9/21 vs.HOU)...started at middle linebacker and collected six tackles in the Titans' 31-12 victory. (9/14 at CIN)...started at middle linebacker and recorded seven tackles, including two tackles for loss in the 24-7 road victory...Stonewalled Chris Perry for a three yard loss on a rush off right tackle in the second quarter...Tackled Perry for a one-yard loss on a rush in the second quarter.

BEFORE THE NFL

◊ A two-time team captain at Duke, Fowler became second player in school history to lead the team in tackles for three consecutive years...He finished his career second on Duke's career tackles for a loss list (47.5), third on the career tackles list (495) and sixth on career sacks list (12.5).

◊ He earned second-team All-ACC honors his senior year after registering 136 tackles and earned honorable mention All-ACC and Academic All-ACC honors his junior year after leading Duke with career-high 145 tackles.

◊ Three-year letterman at Seminole High School in Redington Shores, Fla., playing quarterback, running back and line-backer. As a senior, he captained a team that went 8-2 and made an appearance in the state playoffs.

OFF THE FIELD

◊ During the offseason, Fowler works on developing his company, Ryan Fowler and Associates, a capital placement venture dealing with investments ranging from real estate rehab projects to ownership of federal government leased buildings.
