■ Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year, offensive captain of Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star all-class, all-state teams, and Huskerland Prep Report Player of the Year for North Platte HS.

■ Rushed for 2,037 yards and scored 31 TDs as senior, rushed for 4,891 yards and scored 76 TDs for career — both Class A state records — and had 6,527 all-purpose yards at North Platte.

■ State’s leading basketball scorer his senior season in high school, averaging 26 ppg.
■ Attended Taste of the NFL on 5/22/08 to help raise money for ShopRite Partners in Caring Fund, dedicated to fighting hunger in New York metro area.
■ Visited Mercy First Hospital on 5/18/08 and participated in Project Hope Visit at Times Square Church on 5/24/08.
