■ Former walk-on turned three-year starter at UMass.

■ Served as Minutemen captain his senior season and recorded 251 tackles (165 solo), 12.5 sacks, 8 INT and 19 PD in his career.

■ Named Walter Camp All-American, College Sporting News All-Star and All-Atlantic-10 first-team DB after senior season.

■ Recorded 74 tackles and 4 INT as true freshman, including eight tackles and two picks in win over Hofstra.

■ Rushed for 1,012 yards and 18 TD and totaled more than 2,000 all-purpose yards as senior at Amherst (Mass.) Regional HS.

■ Two-time All-Western Massachusetts and all-league selection who served as a team captain and was named team defensive MVP his senior season.

■ Also member of Amherst basketball, lacrosse and track teams and earned all-county honors in basketball.
