Was called for first and only holding penalty of NFL career vs. Titans' talented Albert Haynesworth in Week 16 at TEN. ... Anchored protection as Chad Pennington was sacked only once on 40 dropbacks in completing 32 of 39 passes for season-high 291 yards in Game 4 at BUF. ... Pivotal in helping Thomas Jones run for season-high 130 yards and Jets to rush for 158 yards in Week 6 at PHI.
2006 (JETS) Started in AFC Wild Card Playoff Game loss at NE and helped Chad Pennington throw for 300 yards and TD. … Blocked for Pennington as he threw for 339 yards in Week 15 win at MIN. ... In Week 7 win vs. DET, paved the way as six Jets combined for season-high 221 rushing yards and three TDs. … In his first pro game, helped Pennington throw for 319 yards and two TDs in season-opening victory at TEN.
