Jason Mandolesi is in his second season with the Jets and first season as Quality Control Coach... Mandolesi is responsible for a number of quality control defensive duties including the compiling of comprehensive scouting reports on opposing offenses: breakdowns of their schemes, formations and tendencies... He is also responsible for the coordination of the opponent scout team and the compiling of the weekly playbooks for players... During games, Mandolesi relays offensive personnel and analyzes opponent tendencies for adjustments.

Mandolesi came to the Jets as a video assistant prior to the 2004 NFL season. From 2002-03, Mandolesi served as an intern in the New England Patriots video department. He also assisted with offensive quality control duties under former Patriots offensive coordinator/current Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis as the Pats captured a World Championship.

Mandolesi was born on August 23, 1982 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a four-time All-New England discus thrower at Springfield College from 2000-04 and graduated with a degree in Sports Management. Jason currently resides in Long Beach, New York.
