■ Kyle Thorne joined the New York Jets organization in February 2009 as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
■ He most recently served as head strength and conditioning coach with Everton FC, an English Premier League soccer club based in Liverpool, England.
■ Prior to that he worked as a sports performance coach at Athletes' Performance in Los Angeles (2006-07) and as a strength and conditioning intern with the San Diego Chargers (2006).
PLAYING CAREER
■ Thorne played LB and WR for the Hawaiian Islanders in Arena Football 2 in 2004 and coached and played with the Billings Outlaws in the Indoor Football League in 2005.
■ He played LB for Long Beach City College (1998-99) and Hofstra (2000-01).

■ Thorne was born in Tucson, AZ.
■ He graduated from Hofstra in 2002.
