Jerome Henderson is entering his fourth season with the Jets, his second as director of player development, and his first as the team's assistant secondary coach. Henderson was selected in the second round of the 1991 draft out of Clemson by New England and played eight seasons as an NFL defensive back. He played for the Patriots twice (1991-93, 1996) and made stops with Buffalo and Philadelphia before finishing his career with the 1997-98 Jets. He played in 98 regular-season games with nine interceptions. Before coming to the Jets in February 2006, Henderson was vice president of HomeBanc Mortgage Corp. in Raleigh, NC. He has two daughters, Jazmin and Taylor, and a son, Tyler. Taylor and Tyler are twins.
