Had sixth 4-for-4 FG game of career in Week 14 vs. CLE. ... Went 4-for-4 in Week 10 vs. PIT, including game-tying FG with 23 seconds left in regulation and game-winner 5:03 into OT. ... Sent Week 9 game vs. WAS to OT on 30-yard FG with 10 seconds remaining in regulation. ... Had first two two-touchback games of career when pair of kickoffs weren't returned in Week 3 vs. MIA and again in Week 6 vs. PHI. ... Kicked 50-yarder for 19th consecutive FG in Week 2 at BAL before missing from 52 yards later in second quarter to end streak.

2006 (JETS) Converted all three FG tries in AFC Wild Card Game at NE, giving him 21 consecutive FGs to end season. ... Hit first game-winning FG of NFL career, from 30 yards with 10 seconds on clock as Jets prevailed at MIA, 13-10, before national TV audience on rainy Christmas night. ... Crushed 52-yard kick, second-longest of career, in second-quarter of Week 15 win at MIN. ... Named Jets special teams player of the week after going 4-for-4 on FGs, including career-long 54-yarder, scoring 14 points and making a tackle in Week 12 win vs. HOU.

2005 (JETS) Kicked four FGs and had season-high 14 points in Week 14 vs. OAK. ... Hit first four FGs in Week 12 vs. NO, then barely missed game-winning 53-yard try with 10 seconds to play. ... ■ Selected by Jets in second round (47th overall) of 2005 NFL Draft.

BEFORE THE NFL

■ Connected on 72 of 88 FG attempts (81.8 percent), with long of 55 yards,

in four-year career at Ohio State, during which he set or tied 22 school records.

■ Winner of Lou Groza Award in 2004, given to nation’s top kicker, and was consensus All-America choice.

■ Became first Buckeye kicker to earn All-America first-team honors after scoring OSU-record 120 points in 2002.

■ As Centerville HS senior captain in 2000, he connected on five of seven FG, including school-record 52-yarder, was 29-of-29 on PATs, threw for three TDs and ran for seven as QB, and was named to Western Ohio League first team and AP All-Ohio Division I second-team.

■ For four-year HS career he converted 13 of 17 FGs and school-record 165 PATs and scored 262 points.

■ Graduated from Ohio State in June 2007 with degree in logistics management.
