- Played in 46 games (36 on defense and 10 on offense) making 22 starts, recording 131 tackles with 7.5 sacks, three FR, one FF and four PD while at Nebraska.
- Selected Academic All-America and Academic All-Big 12 Conference as a senior after finishing the season with 68 tackles, four sacks, three PD, two FF and one blocked punt.
- Started nine games (six at RE and three at LE) as a junior and finished with 54 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one FR and one PD.
- In his sophomore year Johnson switched to rush end from TE in the spring and played in all 12 games, primarily on special teams as a member of the KOR team. Credited with nine tackles on the season.
