  • Stepped into the starting FB role and finished second on the team with 47 receptions, good for 436 yards and a TD, as well as carrying the ball once for two yards and serving as the lead blocker for much of RB Curtis Martin's 1,308 rushing yards on the season. Also continued his stellar special teams play, finishing second on the team with 22 tackles to extend his Jets record to 135 career stops in kick coverage.
  • His 47 receptions led all AFC FB and ranked second in the leage only to his close friend and former teammate Richie Anderson of the Dallas Cowboys.
  • Tied his career high with five receptions, gaining 43 yards and added three special teams tackles in game 16 at MIA.
