Serving as the back-up man for Larry Grantham is a job designed to get you more time on the bench than anyplace else. But aggressive Bob Rowley, a second-year pro from the University of Virginia, is liable to make a job for himself in the Jets' linebacking corps just by sheer hustle. Rowley is listed on the coaches' depth chart as the No.2 man at the right linebacker post and that happens to be where Grantham, the Jets' all-AFL star, holds forth.  But Rowley is now being ticketed as the swing man for relief all along the defensive line and if his pre-season efforts are any indication, Bob is going to be a handy manto have around. He's a hard-hitting tackler who likes to hit 'em low and is also adept at plugging up the holes in the defensive line. The 22-year-old Rowley weighs in at 225 pounds and make his home in Cumberland, Md.
