John McMullan - #68 - G - Notre Dame - Profile

John is a rugged competitor, who after four years in the pros knows how to throw his weight around on the line. McMullan handled chores on the right side of the offensive line last season. He was tutored in his trade under the watchful eyes of Notre Dame greats, Frank Leahy and Terry Brennan. Part of his aggressiveness came from playing on those fabulous Fighting Irish teams of 1953-55, which crushed 27 of 30 opponents. After graduation, John entered the service, playing at Fort Dix, N. J., where he was named to the All-Army and All-Service team in 1956 and 1957. Before signing with the Titans, McMullan saw duty with the Giants and Philadelphia Eagles . John, who resides in Ft. Lee, N. J., is married andone daughter.
