An offensive tackle with six years of pro experience, Jim McCusker is a valuable addition to the Jets' reserve strength on the offensive line. Jim played his collegiate ball at the University of Pittsburgh and was drafted by the Chicago Cardinals of the NFL. After playing with Chicago in 1958, McCusker was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and spent the next four seasons there. He was the starting left tackle on the offensive Iine for the Eagle aggregation which won the NFL eastern division title in 1960. In 1963, he was traded to Cleveland and was signed by the Jets as as a free agent at the start of this season.
