PERSONAL ANECDOTE
Had a successful career in the CFL (Canadian Football League) from 1965-68. In 1967 he threw for 40 touchdown passes, breaking Tobin Rote’s league record, and he was named an all star and won the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player Award.
