Dick spelled Dorow in 1960, taking charge when the No.1 quarterback was injured around mid-season. Jamie- son proved a competent replacement, completing 35 of 70 aerial attempts, for 586 yards and 6 touchdowns. The lanky signal-caller was an understudy at Baltimore in 1959, behind a pretty fair quarterback, Johnny Unitas. Noted for his intense competitive spirit, he was acquired by the Titans last year in a trade with Dallas. At Bradley, Jamieson was named to the Little All-American team in 1956, as he took the NCAA total offense crown in his sophomore year. He also was a star basketball and base- ball player, working as a catcher with the Brave nine and later in the professional ranks. Dick, who lives in Peoria, III., is married and has two sons, Jeff, age 3, and Timmy, age 2.
