2006 SEASON
Caught two passes, the first postseason receptions of his career, for 22 yards in the Wild Card Playoff Game loss at NE.
Started in the season finale vs. OAK and caught three passes for 14 yards.
Recorded a special teams tackle in the week 16 win at MIA and moved into sole possession of fourth place on the Jets’ All-Time special teams tackles list with 68.
Started for the first time since week four and caught a career-high three passes for 15 yards and recorded one rush for no yards in the week 15 win at MIN.
Listed as inactive for the week 14 loss vs. BUF.
Returned to the lineup and rushed once for one yard in the week 13 win at GB.

Played in his 40th game and had four carries for five yards, an 11-yard reception (his first reception of the season) and recorded an assisted special teams tackle in the week 15 loss at MIA.
Posted his first offensive stats of the season with a career-high nine carries for a career-high 54 yards and saw action on special teams tallying an assisted tackle in the week 14 win vs. OAK.
In the week 13 loss at NE started as an extra FB as the Jets opened in a three-back offense and played on special teams.
Saw time on special teams registering four special teams tackles (three solo) in the week 12 loss vs. NO.
Was inactive from week three through week five due to an ankle injury.
Credited with an assist on special teams in the week two division win vs. MIA.
2004 SEASON (JETS)
Became one of the Club’s best special teams’ players, as he saw action in all 16 games and recorded a team leading 31 special teams’ tackles, 21 of which were solo. Finished the season with six carries for 23 yards along with two receptions for 12 yards on the season.
Saw time on offense and special teams where he recorded two tackles. Also provided a key block for KR Jerricho Cotchery’s 94-yard kick return for a TD in the second half of the Jets’ regular-season finale, a 32-29 OT loss at STL.
Recorded the first reception of his career for 11 yards on a pass from QB Quincy Carter in the third quarter on the Jets’ first scoring drive of the second half. Added one tackle on special teams in the game 11 win at ARI.
Registered two tackles and a FR on special teams in the game 10 victory at CLE. Pounced on the muffed catch by Browns’ PR Dennis Northcutt at the CLE 47-yard line after a third-quarter Jet punt.
Notched three tackles on special teams and recorded his first carries of the season on offense as he ran the ball six times for 23 yards, including a 14-yard scamper in the fourth quarter of the game seven Monday Night Football victory over MIA.
Participated on the kickoff return and kickoff teams and posted one special teams tackle. Also returned a kickoff for 13 yards in the game six loss at NE.
Saw action on the kickoff return, kickoff and punt teams and recorded three special teams tackles in the game five win vs. SF.
2003 SEASON (JETS)
Played in all 16 games during his rookie season, seeing the bulk of his time on special teams where he made 12 tackles and returned one kickoff 27 yards. Also carried the ball twice for nine yards as the backup FB.
Returned one kickoff 27 yards and made three special teams tackles in game 15 against NE.
Made three solo tackles on special teams and played in some short yardage situations in the game 11 win over JAX.
Played on special teams in game 10 at IND, blocking on the kickoff return team that led to Jonathan Carter’s 90-yard TD return.
Saw his first extended action at FB in game five against BUF and carried the ball twice for nine yards. Also had a special teams tackle against the Bills.
Made one tackle on special teams and played in short yardage at FB in his NFL debut at WAS in week one.
COLLEGE/HIGH SCHOOL
Made 83 catches for 777 yards with six TD in 48 games at Michigan.
Carried the ball 343 times for 1,580 yards and 17 TD.
Named the team’s MVP as a senior and earned All-Big Ten Conference honorable mention.
Led the team in rushing with 199 carries for 902 yards and 10 TD as a sophomore.
Rushed for 1,526 yards and scored 16 times during his senior year at Colerain (Cincinnati, OH) HS.
Second-team Division I All-Ohio, first-team All-Greater Miami Conference, All-Southwest Ohio and All-Cincinnati pick in his senior year.
Was selected by The Detroit Free Press “Best of the Midwest” team.

OFF-THE-FIELD
Majored in kinesiology at Michigan.
Averaged 10 points per game as the starting forward on the basketball team as a junior in high school.
Was a member of the Jets celebrity softball team at the annual Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s Celebrity Challenge. The Celebrity Challenge raised money for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s capital campaign to build a 24-bedroom extension to the current house on Long Island.
