PERSONAL

All-county and all-area selection in football and also lettered in basketball and baseball at Garfield HS in his hometown of Garfield, N.J.

Served as the club's United Way Spokesperson in 1998 and 1999 and continues to work with The Colleen Giblin Foundation.

Wayne and his wife, Amy, are the parents of two sons, Lukas Kane and Cade Jagger.

Earlier this year Wayne opened Chrebet's restaurant right across Hempstead Turnpike from the Jets' practice facility in Hempstead, N.Y.

Wayne is part-owner of a 3-year-old filly pacer named Southwind Tempo that he calls "the horse of a lifetime."
