The New York Jets have signed free agent cornerbacks Jonathan Zenon and Kenny Patton. The announcement was made today by Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Zenon (6'0", 176), who played in 41 games and started 30 at LSU, finished with 91 tackles and nine interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns. On the road to the 2007 national championship, Zenon had an 18-yard interception return in the fourth quarter of the SEC Championship Game vs. Tennessee to seal a victory for the Tigers.

Patton (5'11", 193) was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Hawaii with the Oakland Raiders on May 4, 2007, before being released May 15. Patton was a four-year starter at cornerback for the Warriors, totaling 139 tackles and three interceptions in 42 games.
