Director, New Meadowlands Stadium Suites Customer Service And Equity Partnerships
New York Jets (Florham Park, N.J)

Summary:

Create and execute a customer service and communication program for New Meadowlands Stadium Jets suite holders and club seat holders. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:   
-    Develop a customer service platform for New Meadowlands Stadium Jets suite holders and club seats holders
-    Establish standard operating procedures for communication between these customers and the organization
-    Create database of customer profiles to deliver customer preferences and individual needs
-    Work closely with the Jets Director of Corporate Partnerships to deliver the many Equity Partnership assets for suite holders (including, but not limited to special suite holder events, private team functions, access to practices and other NFL/Jets events)
-    Manage the relationship between the customer and the Stadium food and beverage provider.
-    Coordinate employee training and customer service efforts with New Meadowlands Stadium Company customer service department
-    Work with the many suite and club seat sales people to fulfill customer expectations and deliverables

Experience:   
Prospective candidate should have no less than eight (8) to ten (10) years industry experience in a sports venue or related premium customer service role.  Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
-    Bachelor’s degree required in Hospitality, Marketing, or Communications
-    Sports venue experience preferred
-    Demonstrated professional and superior interpersonal skills
-    Proven ability to create customer service programs
-    Excellent computer skills
-    Position is based in Florham Park NJ. Frequent travel is required to the New Jets Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Candidate is required to provide own transportation to and from locations

Media Relations Internship
New York Jets (Florham Park, N.J)
Overview: An intern in the New York Jets Public and Media Relations Department plays a versatile and crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the department. Our goal is to provide you with on-the-job training, real-life work experiences and a hands-on knowledge of every aspect of what is required to work in a major NFL market, in media relations. This internship could be the last step in your sports public relations training. We are looking for qualified individuals who have proven themselves at the college level or have excelled in similar positions in the NFL or in other major sports.

Duties: You will get the chance to perform tasks big and small. For example:
·    Daily clips
·    Setting up player interviews
·    Editing transcripts
·    Filling photo requests
·    Writing press releases
·    Monitoring press conferences and interviews
·    Supervising game-day staff
·    Pivotal game-day responsibilities at home and when team is on the road
·    Press box setup
·    Working on weekly release
·    Interacting with media members on a daily basis
·    Writing and editing for the media guide
·    Escorting media at practice
·    Updating statistics
·    Special projects

Requirements:
·    Must be a college graduate
·    Able to work full time
·    Have good writing skills

Timetable:
·    Resumes are due March 15, 2010.
·    Preliminary interviews to be held in March and early April.
·    Final round of interviews will take place on the weekend of the NFL Draft- April 22-24, 2010.
·    The approximate start date will be in the month of May, 2010.
·    The approximate end date is in the month of February, 2011

Events Positions for 2010
New York Jets (Florham Park, N.J)
Our Events positions are designed to give exposure and experience on how special events operate for a major sports organization.  The New York Jets Events Team has a mission to provide opportunities to improve ones skills through hands on experience. 

The Events Team will take part in the set-up, break-down, and all operational aspects of various events throughout the off-season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating Generation Jets Fest, assisting in player autograph signings, distributing giveaways, and any other duties assigned.

•    Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and able to function in a fast paced, multi-task setting

Multimedia and Production Internship
New York Jets (Florham Park, N.J)

Responsibilities include:
·    assist with video production for Jets' television programs and website content
·    shoot practices, interviews and misc. footage, which will need to be logged and transcribed
·    carry bags, run between cameras and drive to our locations. 

Requirements include:
·    must be a college graduate
·    able to work full time
·    must have own form of transportation
·    multimedia and production experience
·    quick learner, who can take direction and run with a task
·    hustle and desire to accomplish tasks with speed are necessary
·    this person will not be an observer, they will be hands-on. 

Timetable:
