WR-KR Lucky Whitehead Added to Practice Squad

The Jets have made two practice squad transactions, signing WR-KR Lucky Whitehead and releasing LB Jeremy Cash.

Acquired off waivers from Dallas in July, Whitehead suffered a foot fracture in practice after the first preseason game and was subsequently waived/injured in September. The 5'9", 180-pound Whitehead appeared in 30 Cowboys in 2015-16, averaging 25.6 yards on 33 kick returns and 6.9 yards on 44 punt returns.

Cash played in eight games last season for the Carolina Panthers and was added to the Jets' practice squad on Oct. 24.
