Top 5 Rex Takeaways From the First Week of Camp

Posted Jul 27, 2014

5 Rex Responses to Questions During the First 4 Days of Training Camp

1. With Chris Johnson now in the fold, Rex understands how crucial it is to have a game-breaker out of the backfield – and how difficult it is for defense's to contain.

2. Rex created a "veteran steering committee" with a representative from each position group – but he couldn't leave off Willie Colon.

3. Eric Decker brings a lot of skills to the Green & White WR corps – size, route-running and the ability to get separation. Rex also lays praise to a pair of rookie wideouts.

4. While the WR group is clearly much improved, the D-line continues to build depth with Jason Babin now on board. The 11-year veteran could help his young position-mates develop.

5. Dee made a few headlines this week for his confidence. But Rex knows that at CB, if you don't have confidence, you have nothing.
