Go Into the Locker Room to Hear from Jets Players as They Continue Game Planning for New England

Jets React to playing ‘one of the best’ and for some a former teammate on Thursday night.

Calvin Pace on the short week: “I think the good thing is that it is the Patriots, so we are somewhat familiar with them. But that being said, you just move on past the Broncos right into New England. I think we understand their personnel and how they try to attack us. I’m sure they’ll have a couple new wrinkles for us. We’ve just got to go out and play.”

Eric Decker on Darrelle Revis: “If we have one-on-one matchups at all, it’s going to be tough. I have to make sure to use my technique and be physical, because he is a guy that is very smart, very physical…So, I am looking forward to having the chance to play one of the best for sure.”

David Nelson: “It’s New England week and that’s something that we look forward to…Right now we’re throwing our record out the door. We’re trying to start fresh.”

Oday Aboushi: “I’ve been in it with Denver and I played a little in Green Bay, so I kind of got a little taste of it there. But like Coach always preaches to me, just stay ready…And right now it’s a matter of just performing.”

Darrin Walls: “It’s always a challenge going up against (Tom Brady). He knows our defense. He knows what to expect. For us it’s a challenge to switch it up a little bit, give him different looks and play some different coverages.”

Michael Vick:  “When you have a chance to play a divisional opponent, I think it brings out the best in you. It’s going to bring out the best in both teams. We know there can only be one winner, so we have to find that edge.”
