Jets Waive CB Devon Torrence

Posted Aug 14, 2012

The New York Jets have waived cornerback Devon Torrence. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Torrence (6'0", 190) joined the Jets as a free agent on Aug. 1. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Vikings on July 27, 2011, and was waived after training camp on Sept. 3. Torrence was signed to the Bengals' practice squad on Dec. 19 and was later waived on Jan. 2.
