Jets Significantly Adjust Pricing on Some 300-Level Seats

Posted Jun 21, 2012

The New York Jets have announced that, effective today, they are adjusting the pricing of seats in the last 13 rows of the corner and end zone sections in the 300-level of MetLife Stadium for their games in the season ahead. Portions of the four sideline sections adjacent to these areas will also be adjusted.

The adjustments will affect about 12,000 seats — a little less than 15 percent of the stadium. Affected seats currently priced at $105 will be adjusted to $75 and $50 for season tickets. Affected seats currently priced at $95 will also be adjusted to $75 and $50 for season tickets. Existing season ticket holders and new season ticket holders in those price-adjusted sections will receive the savings.

Existing season ticket holders and all fans who are interested in the new pricing or have questions should call the Jets ticket office at 800-469-JETS (5387).

"After we looked at the 300-level, we decided to adjust the price to improve the value for fans, especially season ticket holders," said team president Neil Glat, hired by owner Woody Johnson in April. "We're confident that these seats would have been sold on a game-by-game basis, but we wanted to ensure that as many seats as possible are sold to season ticket holders.

"Increasing the number of season ticket holders in these areas makes sense," Glat said. "The NFL is built on season ticket holders — they are the lifeblood of the stadium experience across the league. And we want more of them in the 300-level."
