The New York Jets have signed fullback
Hilliard (5'11", 235) entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection by Miami in the 2008 NFL Draft (204th overall) and spent his rookie season on the Dolphins practice squad. He spent three seasons with Miami before signing with the Minnesota Vikings as an unrestricted free agent March 21. After being waived by Minnesota following the preseason on Aug. 31, he signed with New England on Sept. 4 but was waived by the Patriots on Sept. 19.
Hilliard has played in 48 NFL games with four starts and has rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 39 carries and caught 26 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
Turner (6'5", 220) entered the NFL as a third-round selection by Miami in 2009. The Jets claimed him off waivers Sept. 5, 2010, after he was waived by the Dolphins. Turner most recently rejoined the club on Sept. 24 prior to the Jets' game against San Francisco. In two seasons with the Jets, he played in 20 games primarily on special teams and recorded nine tackles. He also had 10 receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown.
White (6'0", 215) was a seventh-round selection of the Jets in the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to their practice squad on Sept. 2 after being waived following training camp. White also spent the first four weeks of the season on the Jets practice squad before being waived on Sept. 28.
Fletcher (6'1", 195) was signed to the Jets practice squad on Sept. 25 after being waived from the 53-man roster the day before. Fletcher originally joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 4. He was signed to the Jets practice squad on Sept. 1 after he was waived following training camp, and later rejoined the Jets practice squad on Sept. 22.
