What is Jets Fans First?

We've heard the voices of our fans who want to watch games in a family friendly atmosphere.  We have listened to those concerns and taken steps to address them.  That's why we launched a new program, Jets Fans First.  The Jets, in conjunction with the N.J. Sports and Exposition Authority and the N.J. State Police, have enacted a number of new policies and are enforcing existing ones this season.  This initiative is aimed at heightening the experience of Jets fans attending games while actively addressing improper fan behavior.  A new text messaging system is in place that enables you to notify stadium security of any situation in the stands.  The new Green Team tries to ensure that we are delivering a great gameday experience.  If you have any questions or other concerns please contact us at jetsfansfirst@newyorkjets.com

What is the new text messaging system?

A text messaging system has been introduced to enable fans to notify stadium security of any incidents while they are in the stadium. A similar system was successfully implemented by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007. The team is working closely with the NJSEA to respond to complaints of improper fan behavior. The NJSEA is proactively monitoring and issuing warnings. Bad behavior will not be tolerated.

To text: Open a blank text message and address the message to 78247. Type the word NJSEA followed by a space, the issue and the location.

What will happen to someone who is ejected from a game?

Any Jets season ticket holder who is ejected from a game will have his/her season tickets revoked.  If a non-season ticket holder is ejected, the ticket holder of record will be warned by letter of the incident and informed that a second ejection will lead to the revocation of his/her season tickets.  If a fan uses TicketExchange to purchase tickets, he/she is required to agree to the Fan Code of Conduct before being allowed to purchase the tickets.

When is Jets Fan Appreciation Day?

The team is holding a Fan Appreciation Day on October 18th when the Jets take on division rivals, the Buffalo Bills at the Meadowlands.  The Second Annual Jets Fan Appreciation Day will feature sponsor giveaways, great prizes, and other activities by which the Jets will express to you, our fans, how important you are to our history and our success. Join the Jets and lead the team out of the tunnel and onto the field!

Who can I talk to about special seating requests?

For all special seating requests please contact the Ticket Office at 973-549-4600.

Are there changes to the Pre-Paid Parking Permit Program for the 2009 season?

For the 2009 season, only ticket holders with a pre-paid parking permit will be allowed to park at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. With construction of our new stadium well underway, there are some changes for you to be aware of:

2) With the practice bubble removed, we have gained additional parking in Lot 14, and Lot 18 has been reconfigured.

3) The Satellite Parking Area will not be available for our two preseason games. If you do not have a pre-paid parking permit for the preseason games, you may pay at the toll plazas at the entrances to the Meadowlands Sports Complex and park in the main lots.

How much do the pre-paid parking permits cost?

The pre-paid parking permits were available to Season Ticket Holders only on a season-long basis for a total cost of $200.

The following are parking costs for special types of vehicles:

 Limousines: $75 per game

RVs, Box Trucks, Trailers: $75 per game

Buses: $100 per game

When will I receive my pre-paid parking permits?

If you are a Season Ticket Holder, you should have received parking permits for each home game, depending on the number of season ticket associated with your account, in your Season Ticket mailing. Please bring the appropriate parking permit to each home game to ensure access to the Meadowlands parking lots. No parking permit, no parking spot.

Where can I park with my pre-paid parking permits?

With a pre-paid parking permit you may park in any lot at the Meadowlands Sports Complex (including the Arena parking lots) on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Download the 2009 pre-paid parking permit map.

How many pre-paid parking permits can I purchase?

We sold pre-paid parking permits to Season Ticket Holders based on the following formula:

1-5 1
6-10 2
11-15 3
16-20 4
21-50 5

Can I purchase additional pre-paid parking permits?

No. Due to fewer overall parking spaces, we have limited parking permits. We strongly encourage carpooling or use of the new train line. All other cars will be sent to satellite parking.

What is the time frame for requesting and receiving a donation?

If you wish to request a donation, the following procedures must be used:
