ANSWERS

Are there changes to the Pre-Paid Parking Permit Program for the 2009 season?

For the 2009 season, only ticket holders with a pre-paid parking permit will be allowed to park at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. With construction of our new stadium well underway, there are some changes for you to be aware of:

1) All parking lots will open five hours prior to game time.

2) With the practice bubble removed, we have gained additional parking in Lot 14, and Lot 18 has been reconfigured.

3) The Satellite Parking Area will not be available for our two preseason games. If you do not have a pre-paid parking permit for the preseason games, you may pay at the toll plazas at the entrances to the Meadowlands Sports Complex and park in the main lots.

How much do the pre-paid parking permits cost?

The pre-paid parking permits were available to Season Ticket Holders only on a season-long basis for a total cost of $200.

The following are parking costs for special types of vehicles:

 Limousines: $75 per game

RVs, Box Trucks, Trailers: $75 per game

Buses: $100 per game

When will I receive my pre-paid parking permits?

If you are a Season Ticket Holder, you should have received parking permits for each home game, depending on the number of season ticket associated with your account, in your Season Ticket mailing. Please bring the appropriate parking permit to each home game to ensure access to the Meadowlands parking lots. No parking permit, no parking spot.

How many pre-paid parking permits can I purchase?

We sold pre-paid parking permits to Season Ticket Holders based on the following formula:

# Of Tickets Per Account # Of Parking Permits
1-5 1
6-10 2
11-15 3
16-20 4
21-50 5
Over 50 6

Can I purchase additional pre-paid parking permits?

No. Due to fewer overall parking spaces, we have limited parking permits. We strongly encourage carpooling or use of the new train line. If your group has one parking permit for a game and you arrive in multiple cars, only one car will be permitted to park at the Meadowlands Complex. All other cars will be sent to satellite parking.

Where is satellite parking?

Satellite parking for the 2009 season is located at 1050 Wall Street, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. The parking area is approximately 2 miles from the Stadium and shuttle buses between the satellite parking lots and the stadium will be provided. Please see the accompanying diagram for more detailed location information. The price per car is $25.

Do I need to purchase satellite parking permits in advance?

No, the cost per vehicle (car or SUV) is $25, paid upon arrival at the satellite parking area.

If I don't want to drive, is there another way to get to the stadium?

Yes, there are two ways:

Take the New Train Line

Whether you're coming from NYC, New Jersey, Rockland, Westchester or even Connecticut, simply take transit to the Frank R. Lautenberg Station at Secaucus Junction or Hoboken Terminal. From either location, connect to the Meadowlands Rail Line. The Stadium is just a few minutes away.

Direct Bus Service from Port Authority Bus Terminal
Another popular option for fans traveling from New York City. For your convenience, NJ Transit will continue to offer No. 351 direct bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal for all home games in the 2009-2010 season. Use the Gameday Pass for this transit option too (kids-ride-free offer does not apply).
