New York Jets Flight Crew Profile : Linda 2007

Jets Flight Crew member Linda, like many other members of the team, hails from Long Island — she grew up in Massapequa, N.Y. She is attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she is majoring in interior design.

Linda also started dancing when she was very young.

“Well, I started dancing when I was 3," she says. "My mom took me to dancing school so I didn’t have a choice. Loved it my whole life, danced all throughout high school, and now I’m a dance teacher at a studio.”

Growing up, it was Linda's sister who influenced her the most as she developed into a dancer.

“I looked up to my older sister," she says. "I always thought she was so cool!”

Linda loves Japanese culture, listing Japan as the one place on the planet she would like to see and stating that her greatest regret is “not trying sushi when I was younger.”

For a perfect evening, Linda would “have a great dinner in the city with my friends.”

She says the first thought that will cross her mind when she enters the Meadowlands for the first time will probably be, “Oh my gosh! I cannot believe I am actually here!”

Linda has what she terms “a bubbly personality” and is looking forward to being a member of the Jets Flight Crew this season.
