Eat Right. Move More.

Launched in 2006, the New Jersey Department of Agriculture’s Jets PLAY 60 Eat Right, Move More Program along with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the American Dairy Association & Dairy Council, Inc encourage New Jersey school children to take advantage of healthy foods in their school cafeterias and become more active through grant incentives and Jets player visits. The campaign also challenges schools to get 60 minutes of activity every day for their students and submit their cafeteria meal menus to determine the five schools with the most creative meal selections each year that go above and beyond state and federal guidelines. We are proud to partner with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and American Dairy Association & Dairy Council, Inc. who provide matching grants to the winning schools for cafeteria infrastructure improvements and physical education equipment. Jets Kicker Nick Folk is the programs spokesperson. Annually, one grand prize winning school is awarded a $15,000 grant, a visit from Folk along with being recognized on the field at a Jets home game. First prize grants of $5,000 and a Jets player visit are awarded to four schools. $1,000 grants are awarded to five finalists.
