Jets-Eagles: Third Quarter

File Under: Kerry Rhodes, Dewayne Robertson, Donovan McNabb, David Akers

Good news: The Jets' defense opens the second half by pitching a three-and-out, its first of the day, at the Philly offense.

Bad news: The Jets' offense also goes three-and-out. And then Ben Graham hits a bad punt, a 3.4-second hanger that takes a backward hop and is downed at midfield: 28-yard gross, 28 net. And again the home team has to step up to prevent this game from getting out of hand.

Jets-Eagles: Second Quarter

File Under: Chad Pennington, Darrelle Revis, Mike Nugent, Leon Washington, David Akers

This time Ben Graham handles the snap, hits a beauty inside the 5, and Greg Lewis is taken out of bounds by Rashad Washington at the Birds' 18.

Rookie Kevin Kolb likewise takes over the Eagles' offensive controls, with little ini… More

Jets-Eagles: First Quarter

File Under: Kellen Clemens, Ben Graham, Brad Kassell, David Akers

Normally we wouldn't go over the lineups, but this one is so different than it will be for any other game this year that it's worth it to review the starters. For the Jets defense, the line is Bobby Hamilton, Sione Pouha and Kimo von Oelhoffen, the LBs are Cody Spencer, rookie David Harris, Brad Kassell and David Bowens, and the secondary is rookie Darrelle Revis and Hank Poteat on the corners and… More
