De la Hoya May Spar with the Jets Today

File Under: Allen, Eric Mangini, Teddy Atlas, Brett Favre, Oscar de la Hoya

Today is getaway day for the Jets. It's their last practice of the bye week before four days away from the Atlantic Health Training Center, so you'd want to stand far enough to the side that you don't get any windburn from the players as they leave the facility.

But head coach Eric Mangini has a way of keeping his players around a little longer after today's practice ends in about a half-hour. A … More

File Under: Eric Mangini, Shaun Ellis, Jerricho Cotchery, Laveranues Coles, Leon Washington, Brett Favre

Jets-Cardinals: Second Half

File Under: Jerricho Cotchery, Laveranues Coles, Brett Favre, Anquan Boldin, Kurt Warner, Edgerrin James, Neil Rackers

Arizona has rebounded some to start the second half, driving 79 yards to Edgerrin James' 4-yard TD run up the middle to cut the Jets' lead to 34-7. And the Cards take a three-and-out punt and start moving again.

But even on this drive, you can tell the Jets have knocked the visitors off their game. Kurt Warner swings a pass to Anquan Boldin, who, with no one around, can't bring the pass in and dr… More

Jets-Cardinals: First Half

File Under: Darrelle Revis, Shaun Ellis, Hank Poteat, Brett Favre, Bubba Franks, Dwight Lowery, Anquan Boldin, Kurt Warner

The weather has improved but the Jets, instead of raindrops, are dodging bullets and bending while not breaking for the game's first 10 minutes. First Arizona drives to second-and-goal at the Jets 9, but is turned back by two consecutive forced fumbles.

The first comes by Shaun Ellis on QB Kurt Warner, a strip-sack that Edgerrin James recovers ahead of Kenyon Coleman's pursuit back at the 32. Th… More
