07/27 — The rain, accompanied by thunder, is coming down in buckets in Hempstead. Brian Mulligan, the Jets' director of events and gameday operations, just informed me that Jets Fest and Jets Shop is closed. The Jets will practice at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, a workout which is scheduled to be open to the public.
“We’ll be outside unless the lightning keeps up," said Jets head coach Eric Mangini. "We’ll be inside if that’s going to be an issue.”
Update 2:36pm: Practice will also be closed to the public due to severe weather.

Well I hope Kellen beats out Chad cause if not we will see 1 pass over 20 yards again this year if Chad wins the spot wake me up in 3 years when Ainge takes over or we have some new guy that we got."
