06/06 — I'll expand on this Radar entry in a short while, but I figured Green & White fans would like to know that Vernon Gholston is in the house.

Gholston, the Jets' sixth overall pick of the draft, has finally been freed by NFL-NCAA rules to report to the team, and at the moment is wearing uniform No. 56 and is participating in the Jets' morning minicamp practice.

VG is running with the second defense and got some plays at OLB against the second O during 7-on7 drills. He looks big as billed and is moving well but hasn't made any eyepopping plays -- yet. But we expect he will, and we'll let you know when he does.
