09/09 — We in the Jets organization listen to our fans. As part of that constant monitoring and ongoing effort, we saw the following tweet from blogger @HolyJoeNamath:

Can we get a game day chant trending? RT this! #J-E-T-S

After that tweet, we noticed a large positive response from Jets fans. We want to take that to the next level by organizing the world's largest Jets chant on Twitter.

On Sunday, Sept. 13, at exactly 12 noon ET, one hour before the kickoff of the Jets' 2009 season against Texans at Houston, we are asking you to log onto Twitter and tweet the following:

J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!

To replicate the stadium experience for those who can't attend the game, tweet the same chant after every Jets touchdown throughout the entire season. Remember, fans at the stadium can still participate if their mobile devices are connected with Twitter! Here's a link if you need help syncing your phone.
