04/17 — What do Kerry Rhodes, Nick Mangold, Jay Feely, Darrelle Revis, Woody Johnson, Eric Allen and I have in common?

(Cue the Final Jeopardy music.)

All of us either are or soon will be tweeting like crazy.

Rhodes, Mangold and Feely have Twitter accounts, Revis and the Jets owner are in the process of setting up theirs, and EA and I began tweeting about this morning's minicamp practice at http://twitter.com/nyjets.

I can't say what Kerry, Nick, Darrelle or Mr. J are or will be tweeting about, but I'm getting into the rhythm of sending out headlines on things that are happening with the Jets right now, and pretty much all the things that we tweet about will then find their way in story or Radar form onto newyorkjets.com.

Shameless cross-promotion? Of course. But we now have the ability to inform Jets fans of breaking news and neat stuff immediately.

I just wanted to chirp a little about it.

"Nice job by the Jets holding practices at Hofstra and their new facilty in NJ. Hofstra was great and hated to see them leave but nothing stays the same for ever. Looking forward to Cortland and love the chance to attend mini-camp. The Jets were very fair trying to take care of ALL their fan base. I actually might be able to attend more practices this year i hope. GO JETS!!!!"

"Big mistake turning training camp into a traveling circus. The only people in this God forsaken (cortland) town are college students and and U.S.Marshals keeping an eye on witness protection informers.Throw in several hundred fugitives and you could take a census right now!!This is 4 hrs. from Long Island and the only place to stay is the Holiday Inn which is now booked solid."

"First you, the Jets get all our hopes up with a chance at the playoffs, Now I wonder if Sanchez is the guy. You really have to try hard to get 5 Interceptions. in 1 game"
