Blogging Service and Comment Policy

The New York Jets offer this "blogging" service (the "Blogging Service") to you subject to the Terms of Use of the Site and the additional terms contained herein. By accessing, creating, contributing, posting, transmitting, submitting messages or other materials ("blogging") in connection with the Blogging Service ("Content"), and in consideration for the Blogging Service the New York Jets are providing, you agree to abide by these conditions. Please read these conditions carefully before submitting Content to the Blogging Service.

Content Posted on the Site

You are solely responsible for any Content you submit to the Blogging Service as the New York Jets accept no responsibility whatsoever in connection with, or arising from, such Content. The New York Jets do not endorse and have no control over the Content submitted by others to the Blogging Service. Content submitted to the Blogging Service is not necessarily reviewed by the New York Jets prior to posting and does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the New York Jets. The New York Jets make no warranties, express or implied, as to such Content or its accuracy and reliability. Nonetheless, you agree that the New York Jets have the right to reject Content to the Blogging Service and to edit, restrict or remove such Content for any reason at any time. The New York Jets assume no responsibility for actively monitoring the Blogging Service for Content the New York Jets deem inappropriate. If, at any time the New York Jets choose, in its sole discretion, to monitor the Blogging Service, the New York Jets nonetheless assume no responsibility for the Content, have no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate Content, and have no responsibility for the conduct of any user submitting any Content.

You agree to strictly limit your Content to discussions about the subject matter for which the Blogging Service is intended. You also agree to permit any other user of the Site to access, view, store or reproduce the material for that other user's personal use and not to restrict or inhibit the use of the Blogging Service by any other person.

You hereby grant to the New York Jets the perpetual non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, sublicense, adapt, transmit, translate, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, duplicate and translate such Content. A back-up or residual copy of the content posted by you to the Blogging Service may remain on the New York Jets servers after the New York Jets have removed such Content from the Site, and the New York Jets retain the rights to those copies. You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you to the Blogging Service or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this section, (ii) your Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person, and (iii) the posting of your Content to the Blogging Service does not result in a breach of any contract between you and a third party. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees and any other monies owing any person by reason of any Content you post to the Blogging Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless, and hereby release the New York Jets, its parents and affiliates together with their respective employees, agents, officers, directors and shareholders, from and against any and all liability, claims, or obligations whatsoever in connection with or arising from your use, or any other person’s use, of the Blogging Service or any of the Content submitted in connection therewith. If at any time you are not happy with the Blogging Service or object to any material within the Blogging Service, your sole remedy is to cease using them.

Prohibited Content and/or Activity

You must use the Blogging Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. You agree that the New York Jets have the right to reject, remove, or edit any Content in its sole and absolute discretion. The following list is for illustrative purposes, and in no way is exhaustive, of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited on the Blogging Service. The New York Jets reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending Content from the Blogging Service and terminating your use of the Blogging Service. Prohibited Content includes Content that:

is obscene, patently offensive, or promotes terrorism, racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
contains nudity, violence, or offensive subject matter;
involves the transmission of "junk mail" or "chain letters" or unsolicited mass mailing;
promotes information that you know is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;
solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
provides any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs or email addresses of any person;
violates the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any person;
furthers or promotes any criminal activity or enterprise or provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; or
involves commercial activities and/or sales without the prior written consent of the New York Jets, such as contests, sweepstakes, solicitation of donations, barter, advertising, or pyramid schemes.

Termination

The New York Jets reserve the right to immediately terminate your use of, or access to, the Blogging Service at any time if the New York Jets decide in its sole discretion that you have violated the terms described herein or any relevant law, rule or regulation or you have engaged in conduct that the New York Jets considers to be inappropriate or unacceptable.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

This site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The New York Jets make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the Site’s operation or the information, content or materials included on this Site. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, the New York Jets hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. The New York Jets will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of or inability to use this site. You expressly agree that you use this site solely at your own risk.
